My whole family is crazy about this game. I bought it for a present for my nephew. A great game because it can be played with an odd number of people.

This card game is our friends and family favorite! We use to play spades all the time but Wizard takes card playing to a new level. In spades there are people who bid high and or low. . Wizard takes all of that away and really makes a person think and “play” the game.
This Christmas I gave Wizard as a gift and the funny thing is that the person who opened the gift was so excited and actually said they loved this game and have been wanting to purchase it!
The only thing I would tell people to do when you buy the game is read the directions and take notes. The game isn’t hard but you can get confused on how the points are awarded.

This is a fun card game! Hard enough to be enjoyable over time, but easy enough to be played by most people and older kids.
It is a bit like Spades and Hearts in that you take tricks, but it has the added wrinkle of Jesters and Wizard cards that are more than just “wild” cards. A very good game! The only thing stopping me rating it 5 stars overall, is that you must have at least three players, which isn’t always possible for us.

Six of us couples meet once a month to have a Wizard Tournament. We play at 3 tables (4 at each table) and rotate after 5 hands (the 2 Losers move to the next table). Each person keeps his own score. We’ve taught the game to everyone in our community and it has really caught on. We love it. It’s easy to learn, but different every time we play, which is often. Wizard Card Game UGS WZ5

We just recently learned how to play Wizard and have been teaching it to others. It is more mind provoking that ordinary card games so it has educational and thinking properties. We are planning on playing it with our 21 year old granddaughter tonight! PS: You can play this game with 2 but 3 or 4 are more fun.
