I’ve used plastic cards in the past and these feel the same as any others I’ve used. They hold up well, clean up easily and will provide many, many hours of entertainment (read years). A proper holder would have been nice, but I have a chip case that holds my cards anyway, so it’s not a big deal. If you want some nice but inexpensive playing cards, there are it!

These cards feel great and the quality is evident. I like the simple and elegant look to them as well – nothing too flashy.
My only gripe is the case (or lack thereof) Some kind of individual case for each deck would have been nice considering the price.

I lost my decks of Kem and Copag cards in a recent move to a new house.
I was reluctant to buy new decks of those premium cards just in case my old ones manifested themselves.
So I bought one deck of Bicycle Prestige plastic cards at my local dept. store. They were OK but I wasn’t very
impressed and also the cards just had a bad acetate smell.
Then before my big hold em tournament I bought two decks of these Da Vinci cards (and some Da Vinci chips, too)
I have to say that these are nice cards. they stood up to 7 hours of play in texas hold em, and also with little kids playing with one of the decks for a couple of hours.
The cards are durable and flexible, and are easy to clean. We got some cheet-o stains on a few of the cards, but they cleaned right up with a damp paper towel. They have a nice snap to them and are not too stiff.
The designs are very plain and not impressive and the cards are very slippery to hold. so in that respect
I do like my KEM cards slightly better than these Da Vincis.
However with one deck of Bicycle Prestige cards at one table and these Da Vinci’s at another (in about the same amount of play) these cards kept their shape and ability to shuffle them well far better than the bikes.
I think these are good cards at a good value, but if you want some that are not too slippery or have bolder colors, then get the KEMs for a few bucks more.

I own these, Kem and Copag. The feel of the cards is great, as with any other 100% plastic (not plastic-coated) cards, and they work perfectly for poker games. They’re slightly thicker than Kems, but that doesn’t mean they’re better or worse; they’re in their own class.
The design of these cards carry the spirit of Da Vinci well, but the only thing I found inconvenient (hence my four stars) was that they didn’t come with a carrying case. My Copags did, as did my Kems, but this only comes with a light plastic deck tray with no cover. Therefore, keeping the packaging is a must if one wants to carry these decks around.
Other than that, I highly recommend them.
UPDATE 2/22/10: After I placed my order, the seller I purchased this from now includes a hardshell case and free cut cards. I inquired with Amazon. com about this, and since they fulfill my seller’s orders they gladly paid for my return shipping and issued a full refund (all on a Sunday evening!), allowing me to buy the new listing with no additional cost.
I now revised the rating from four stars to five stars.

Although there are other plastic playing cards available, these cards have a thick, firm design that feels good and holds up over time. When I bought these Da Vincis I also bought a slightly more expensive pair of Copag Poker Size Regular Index Playing Cards (Master Design Setup) which feel flimsy and more slippery.
